Christmas...only a year away!

Well, it's all over.

Two Christmas dinners in my tummy. Two hams, lots of carrots, dumplings, pasta salad, blaukraut, Caesar salads, and tons of cookies, cakes, pie, and chocolate bits. No turkey though (darn it all).

We made out pretty good present-wise. A couple of Rona gift certificates, and a nice big cheque from Tanya's dad from your Grandmother's estates (she passed away last year); we have enough now to totally buy our kitchen pantry, and put a good amount against the credit card. Whee!

Boxing Day tomorrow. Sweeeeet. Time to hit the comic and Gaming stores for some good deals! I WAS going to go to Best Buy and pick up some blank DVD DL's, for $7.99 a pack, but just noticed tonight that everything is limited to ONE ITEM PER FAMILY! What the-?? For blank media?

Sooooo, I checked the Best Buy website (Bestbuy.ca) to see if I could buy them online, and lo and behold: SOLD OUT!

Guess I just got to wait till mid January when they're dying for a customer.

Gotta go! Must rest for the Boxing Day Bonanza!
